The end of Dos a Cero in Columbus
I guess all good things come to an end. After beating Mexico 2-0 in Columbus in each of the last four World Cup Qualifying cycles, the run ended on November 11 when Mexico scored first - and then in the final seconds - to beat us 2-1.
It was my 11th USAvMEX game, and it fell on 11/11/2017, and there were 11 of us: dad, younger brother, nephews and friends. A bunch of us have been to all these games in Columbus since 2001, and while our older bro couldn't make it, it was the first time my nephews came to such a big game.
