Three Weeks in Sevilla, Spain
In the summer of 2019 I checked Sevilla, Spain off my bucket list, spending three weeks in and around the beautiful autonomous community of Andalusia. While Sevilla was the principal spot, I made a couple days trips to nearby Cordoba and Cadiz.
A week after finishing my role with the Gold Cup, I joined the U.S. Soccer Paralympic - or Para 7-a-Side - National Team as press officer for the International Federation of Cerebral Palsy Football (IFCPF) World Cup, which was being played at the training grounds of Sevilla FC. I actually arrived a day in advance, and proceeded to see a ton of the city.
For long I’d wanted to visit Sevilla...and in short time it more than surpassed my expectations. The charming narrow streets, the plazas and patios and tapas, the people and historic city center. I know I’ll return.
